Affilka: Year in Review 2021

The results of Affilka’s 2021 evaluation are gratifying. With a 100 brand milestone reached, a 122% increase in total client GGR, and new innovative product enhancements, the year became one of significant growth for the company. 

By the end of 2021, Affilka’s client portfolio had reached the 125 live brands mark, 60% of which (76 clients) support cryptocurrencies. One third of all clients are based on proprietary casino and sportsbook platforms, while two thirds rely on B2B platform providers.

Affilka’s clients also experienced a productive year. In 2021, Affilka-backed sportsbooks and casinos generated a total GGR of 390 million EUR, an increase of 122% in comparison with the results of 2020.

The number of affiliate programs launched is also on the rise. 2021 yielded a x1.8 increase in the number of affiliate programs launched, amounting to 86 partnerships compared to 48 in 2020.

“The year 2021 showed a resurgence in the iGaming industry. On the one hand, gambling representatives become increasingly aware of the importance of affiliate marketing and its convenience in promoting their brands. On the other hand, affiliates have also became more active in considering cooperation with iGaming companies: in 2021 alone, their number increased by 39%. Such a trend suggests that in 2022 investment in affiliate marketing will only keep growing”, remarked Anastasia Borovaya, Affilka Product Owner.

Through the evolution of the product, Affilka achieved some notable innovations. Affilka merchant accounts are available to clients on the SOFTSWISS online casino platform and iGaming brands powered by third-party solutions. The team is going further and preparing to strengthen Online Poker Sites with a poker module ready for integration shortly.

Another goal for Affilka is to simplify interactions between operators and affiliates. This resulted in a new bookkeeping option: making records for non-integrated payment methods.
